Meebox (now UnoEuro), a Denmark-based web and cloud hosting provider, needed to boost revenue from its pricing page. The original page listed monthly prices without any promotional offers, so Meebox used VWO to A/B test whether adding discounts would increase sign-ups and overall revenue.
Using VWO, Meebox tested a variation that displayed discounts for customers who committed to a 2-year term (discounts ranged roughly 20–40%). The discounted variation increased revenue by 121.56% (98% chance to beat the original), average order value by 46.24%, and conversions by 51.85%. VWO’s test showed that offering time-bound discounts with multi-year lock-ins both raised immediate revenue and created a longer window for cross-sell and up-sell.
