Inside Buzz (now TargetJobs) is a UK careers site for graduates and young job-seekers that used VWO’s Visual Editor to optimize its homepage. The site’s homepage was cluttered with many CTAs, which confused visitors and drove a high bounce rate; the primary goal was to increase engagement (measured as guide downloads, employer-review reads and click-throughs to other pages).
Using VWO, Inside Buzz ran A/B tests and overhauled the homepage by removing unnecessary links, adding a central industry drop-down, a single prominent CTA and clearer headline/context. The VWO-driven variation outperformed the control, delivering a 17.8% increase in engagement (click-throughs to other pages).
