A VWO Case Study
Drukwerkdeal, an online printing shop in the Netherlands, faced a conversion challenge: cross-selling links on product pages appeared to distract visitors and potentially reduce purchases. To tackle this, they worked with VWO and used A/B Testing to evaluate whether simplifying product pages would boost sales.
Using VWO, Paul removed the cross-selling links on selected product categories (via URL pattern matching) and ran an A/B test with more than 14,000 visitors over two weeks, tracking AOV, products per order, add-to-cart conversions and transactions. Test data was pushed to Google Analytics with one click through VWO; the variation increased completed online orders by 5.6%, performed better for new and returning visitors and across all traffic sources (especially organic and direct), and was subsequently rolled out to all product pages.
