Djoser, a major Dutch travel agency, wanted to boost online bookings and engaged Traffic4u to optimize its site using VWO's A/B Testing. The challenge was that users hesitated to commit to immediate bookings, so the goal was to increase conversions without adding friction.
Using VWO, the team tested a variation that added a "Take an option" CTA letting visitors reserve a spot for 72 hours free of charge (cancelable by phone or email), implemented on all travel detail/price pages. The VWO-powered A/B test ran seven weeks and produced a statistically significant 33.1% lift in bookings at 99% confidence, with cancellations too few to affect the result.
