GreyBox Technologies Tested CTA Changes To Boost Conversions

GreyBox Technologies, an India-based online business growth consulting firm, faced low click-throughs on Pcmbtoday.com despite ~100,000 monthly visitors. The site’s CTA—“Add this to my cart”—was underperforming with many first-time or novice online buyers, so GreyBox used VWO’s A/B testing platform to test a more direct CTA.

Using VWO, GreyBox replaced the CTA with “Buy now” and A/B tested the variation against the original; the change drove 8.41% more visitors down the conversion funnel with 98% confidence. Given the site’s traffic and the fact that 42% of “add to cart” events converted to purchases, the VWO-powered test translated into a meaningful expected uplift in sales.
