Express Watches, a UK online retailer of Seiko watches, faced customer anxiety over product authenticity that suppressed conversions. Their agency, HP-Group, used the VWO CRO/UX testing platform to diagnose and address the trust issue on product pages.
Using VWO, HP-Group A/B tested swapping the “Never Beaten on Price” badge for a “Seiko Authorized Dealer Site” authenticity badge on product pages; over a 30‑day test this change lifted conversion rate from 1.81% to 3.76% (a 107% increase), effectively doubling Express Watches’ sales. The experiment showed authenticity outweighed low‑price messaging, and HP-Group praised VWO as easy to use for running and sharing the test results.
