Understand Quran Academy, an education services company in India that offers interactive courses explaining Islamic texts, wanted to boost sign-up sales on a page offering $10 monthly or $99 annual plans. They used VWO for A/B testing to test whether highlighting two value elements — a 30-day money-back guarantee and an iPhone app — would reduce perceived purchase risk and increase conversions.
Using VWO, Understand Quran Academy added two prominent icons (the money-back guarantee and Apple App Store) to the sign-up page and ran an 11-day A/B test; the variation produced a 32.57% increase in sales with 98% statistical significance. VWO’s testing platform enabled clear measurement of impact and validated the takeaway that making key value elements explicit and prominently displayed materially improves conversion rates.
