CreditLoan, an online financial education platform, faced declining engagement—email open rates had fallen to about 1.5%—and wanted to boost visits and interaction on its blog and homepage. To address this, CreditLoan turned to VWO, using VWO Engage’s push notification services to add a new direct outreach channel.

Using VWO Engage, CreditLoan implemented browser push notifications (opt-ins placed on the homepage and blog) and a cadence of three messages per week. VWO’s solution delivered quick, measurable gains: the first notification brought 230 subscribers, user engagement rose 350%, click-through rate improved to 8% (vs. 1.5% for email), repeat traffic and time on site increased, and revenue lifted 22.09%.
