Bizztravel Wintersports Tested Navigation To Achieve A Jump In Conversions

Bizztravel Wintersport, part of the Dutch Bizz Travel Group, is a specialist in Alpine ski holidays that was struggling with site navigation and high bounce rates—about 75% of visitors never reached the homepage and users clicked an average of five times to find a ski village. To address this, Bizztravel Wintersport partnered with VWO and used A/B testing and behavioral analysis to identify navigation pain points.

VWO used heatmaps and A/B tests to guide a redesigned header with direct links to popular ski villages, themed marketing pages, a Top 10 destinations list, country flags, and a streamlined footer, plus a useful drop-down menu. The VWO variation lifted goal completions by 21.34% (about 21%) with 97% confidence, significantly improving engagement and conversions.
