Bionic Gloves, a UK-based specialist glove maker selling online, faced significant cart abandonment that was hurting sales. The company worked with Portland agency Sq1 (a VWO‑certified partner) and used the VWO A/B testing platform to run experiments aimed at increasing online revenue.
Sq1 ran an A/B test on VWO that removed the “gift card” and “special offer” code fields from the shopping cart to prevent users leaving the funnel; the variation was tested on ~1,400 visitors over 48 days. The VWO-powered test validated the hypothesis: total revenue rose 24.7% and revenue per visitor increased 17.1%, substantially reducing the impact of cart abandonment.
