A VWO Case Study
Artsy Editor, a premium WordPress WYSIWYG editor used by hundreds of writers, wanted to drive more visitors from its home page to the demo and pricing pages. To validate CTA messaging and layout hypotheses, Artsy Editor ran A/B tests using VWO on the call-to-action area between the headline and screenshots.
Using VWO, they tested three CTA combinations (single “Try Demo for Free,” dual buttons, and dual buttons with price) and found the single demo-focused button performed best: a 5% lift to the demo and a 47% increase in click-throughs to the pricing page (variation #2 gave +7% demo / +17% pricing, variation #3 showed no improvement). The tests proved, with measurable results, that VWO-powered experimentation helped Artsy Editor prioritize a demo-first CTA and significantly boost conversions.
