A VTEX Case Study
Grupo SOMA, the largest fashion group in Brazil, faced the challenge of rapidly going digital by migrating seven ecommerce sites in under a year. To meet this ambition they adopted the VTEX Commerce Platform, leveraging VTEX’s headless capabilities and omnichannel approach to unify brands, sales channels and in‑store and online experiences.
VTEX implemented a full omnichannel, headless replatforming with native marketplace and OMS capabilities, delivering seven Grupo SOMA stores in less than a year and connecting channels across the business. The results were significant: 80% growth in the first year after replatforming, a 200% increase in digital commerce during the pandemic, and digital sales now accounting for 60% of Grupo SOMA’s revenue.
