Veranda Mall, a Romanian shopping mall in Bucharest, needed a fast way to support tenants whose physical stores were closed during the pandemic. With limited internal IT and ecommerce resources, a tight budget, and many tenants with little digital commerce experience, the mall turned to VTEX and its marketplace capabilities to launch an online shopping mall.

VTEX helped Veranda Mall build and launch the Veranda Online Shop in just two and a half months, going live with six brands. The solution enabled centralized multi-seller shopping, home delivery, and a digital channel for sales, traffic, and customer insights, strengthening relationships with tenants and setting the foundation for future marketplace growth.
