A VTEX Case Study
The customer, Nestlé Chile, used an established B2E (business-to-employee) ecommerce portal, Despensa Contigo, powered by the VTEX platform. Their challenge was to find a low-risk environment to experiment with new digital commerce strategies and elevate the customer experience for their closed user base of employees, partners, and their families.
The solution implemented by VTEX was the integration of a live shopping feature, facilitated by the VTEX IO platform and AWS Cloud Services. This allowed Nestlé to host an interactive culinary event. The results were highly successful, yielding an 80% viewer retention rate, a 269% increase in orders, and a 206% boost in revenue during and immediately after the event, validating live shopping as an effective strategy for engagement and conversion.
