Case Study: Motorola achieves 25% conversion uplift and rapid global D2C scale with VTEX

A VTEX Case Study

Preview of the Motorola Case Study

Motorola went headless to expand its ecommerce to 37 countries in 10 months

Motorola needed to modernize and scale its global direct-to-consumer operations to compete in a tightening consumer electronics market, adapt to varied local regulations, reduce costs and speed time-to-revenue. After an extensive search they partnered with VTEX, adopting the VTEX Commerce Platform and VTEX IO low-code framework to enable a global, modular e‑commerce approach that could be localized per market.

VTEX implemented a unified commerce solution—VTEX Commerce Platform with VTEX IO—enabling headless front-ends, distributed order management, tax integrations and B2B/D2C price and UX differentiation. The rollout delivered 39 fully functional country sites in ten months (14 with ecommerce from day one), launched 11 sites in two weeks, reduced European delivery times by 30% after logistics changes, and drove a 25% increase in conversion rates.
