L'Oreal’s Kérastase brand faced a disrupted online buying journey because customers had to leave the brand site to complete purchases on L’Oreal’s marketplace (Segredos de Salão). To speed digital commerce growth and improve the customer experience, L'Oreal engaged VTEX to apply its headless commerce and D2C capabilities.
VTEX, working with Valtech, implemented a composable, headless D2C solution that unified Sitecore-managed content with VTEX commercial data (prices, promotions, availability) and delivered the project in 10 weeks. The result was a seamless on-site purchase flow that removed domain switching, improved time-to-market, and created a plug-and-play architecture reusable across regions—VTEX enabled L'Oreal to transform the Kérastase ecommerce experience and accelerate adoption.
