A VTEX Case Study

Preview of the Calzedonia Group Case Study

Intimissimi’s premium lingerie ecommerce in Brazil

Calzedonia Group’s Intimissimi brand needed a premium, locally tailored ecommerce solution when it launched online in Brazil in 2016. The team required a platform that could preserve Intimissimi’s high-end look while handling Brazilian layout preferences, payment methods and tax rules; after evaluating options they selected VTEX’s ecommerce platform (including its OMS and integrations) and went live after a three-month implementation.

VTEX delivered a photography-driven storefront, a fully integrated OMS, easy catalog management and broad payment/social integrations, supported by a strong partner ecosystem. As a result, digital revenue surged—online sales grew 427% in 2020 versus 2019, Mother’s Day sales jumped 685% YoY, and digital share rose from 5% to about 50%—helping Calzedonia Group (Intimissimi) cement Brazil as its fourth-largest market globally.
