How Erik’s Bike Shop improved the transaction volume and conversion rates

ERIK’S is a North American sporting-goods retailer with 29 stores and over 450 employees that wanted to drive more foot traffic from its online audience and better leverage store inventory. VTEX delivered omnichannel capabilities (VTEX Omnichannel Features) to integrate store-level inventory with the ecommerce site and enable a Find In-Store function.

Using VTEX’s omnichannel solutions, ERIK’S made local inventory visible online and added a Ship-to-Store option. Up to 17% of product-page visitors click Find In-Store, roughly 20% of online orders are now Ship-to-Store, and the initiative helped ERIK’S achieve an 86% year-over-year increase in transaction volume and a 76% improvement in conversion rates.
