How a VTEX intern doubled the revenue of a major retailer

VTEX worked with Major Retailing Company, an appliance retailer whose B2C e-commerce was underperforming. Using Google Analytics, Search Console and Google Trends, VTEX diagnosed very low conversion rates in Brazil’s South and Midwest caused by shipping unavailability and longer delivery times in those ZIP-code regions.

VTEX recommended and helped implement targeted fixes to freight tables and fulfillment settings to restore product availability and reduce delivery times. After the changes, Major Retailing Company’s B2C site (excluding marketplaces) saw nearly a 98% increase in monthly revenue, a 40% rise in transactions and a 27.6% increase in average order value.
