Grupo Éxito implements live shopping and reaps the rewards

Grupo Éxito, Colombia's largest retail company, faced the challenge of finding new drivers for ecommerce growth in an increasingly competitive market. They partnered with the vendor VTEX to find a solution.

VTEX provided a ready-made solution powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) that was implemented on top of Grupo Éxito's existing website. This drastically reduced the development effort required by their own engineers. The results were significant: live sessions had an audience duration 680% longer than the regional ecommerce average, and each event drove a daily sales increase of approximately 6%. VTEX's technology enabled the company to successfully shift from a transactional site to an engaging entertainment platform that directly boosted sales.
