Decathlon, a global sporting goods retailer, sought to create a unified commerce experience and transform the role of its physical stores. The challenge was to integrate its digital and brick-and-mortar operations to create a seamless customer journey. To achieve this, Decathlon partnered with vendor VTEX to implement its inStore solution.

The VTEX inStore solution provided an integrated platform for endless aisle capabilities and in-store fulfillment. This enabled sales associates to access the entire network’s inventory and process orders from any location. The results were significant, with in-store digital sales reaching 5% of total store sales. The solution also improved operations, with 80% of VTEX inStore orders being fulfilled directly from store stock, demonstrating the success of VTEX's unified commerce strategy.
