C&A, a Belgian‑German‑Dutch fast‑fashion retailer operating 295 stores across Brazil, faced the challenge of rapidly digitalizing its business and restructuring inventory to meet changing consumer behavior — a need made urgent by the COVID‑19 pandemic and store closures. The VTEX solution helped C&A achieve measurable gains — a 20× increase in digital revenue over six years, 350% growth between July and September 2020, and a 3× rise in marketplace sellers in Q4 2020 — driving productivity, growth and a stronger ecommerce business.
