Case Study: Blade HQ achieves scalable ecommerce and rapid growth with VTEX

A VTEX Case Study

Preview of the Blade HQ Case Study

Blade HQ sharpens its ecommerce to rapid growth

Blade HQ, the premier online knife retailer, had outgrown its homegrown ecommerce system and needed a scalable platform to support its SEO-heavy catalog, massive social-driven traffic, and the complex marketing restrictions of selling knives and outdoor gear. To sustain and accelerate rapid growth, Blade HQ selected VTEX and its cloud-based, low-code commerce platform (including native marketplace and improved order management) to replace their legacy stack.

VTEX delivered a scalable cloud architecture and out-of-the-box commerce capabilities, working with implementation partners to modernize Blade HQ’s front end, backend and operations. As a result, Blade HQ now runs twice as much traffic on mobile as on desktop and is forecasting to double its online GMV within the next three years, while enabling faster product drops, stronger order management and continued SEO and social reach.
