A VPI Case Study
King’s Daughter Hospital, which provides emergency and non‑emergency medical transport for Madison, Indiana and surrounding agencies, faced a mission‑critical communications problem when its call recording system failed. The hospital needed a dependable, intuitive recording and logging solution that would support EMS operations and overcome tedious, proprietary records‑retrieval procedures—so they evaluated and selected VPI’s call recording solution (VPI Digital Voice Logger).
VPI installed its contact‑center/call‑and‑radio logging system to restore and modernize recording, storage, and sharing of critical communications. The VPI solution quickly replaced the failed recorder, gave the hospital flexibility to grow beyond the prior 8‑channel limit, streamlined record retrieval, and became a major contributor to the hospital’s overall efficiency and operational confidence. VPI’s system thus ensured continuous, scalable capture of communications essential to patient care and public safety.
