A VPI Case Study
Monex, America’s precious metals investment leader for over 30 years with a sales staff of over 80, needed more than a full‑time tape recorder: their aging proprietary hardware system could not provide the flexibility, PBX interoperability, or selective recording and third‑party verification required to capture verbal trade agreements and risk disclosures. VPI was selected to address these requirements.
VPI implemented a digital call recording solution (including VPAppend and Verbal Receipts functionality) that integrates with Monex’s PBX to record only the vital transaction segments, generate PIN‑based verbal receipts, and store records online and on DVD. The VPI system eliminated costly DAT cassettes, delivered lightning‑fast retrieval, supported third‑party verification, and improved customer service and liability protection for Monex.
