Global Sports Week, the international forum dedicated to sport, needed a way to quickly pivot from in-person events to a customized platform for virtual and hybrid experiences that could engage sports leaders and build a global community year-round. After the pandemic disrupted live events, the team needed scalable video capabilities and a more streamlined attendee experience, which they found through inwink with the Vonage Video API.
Vonage implemented the Video API inside the inwink platform to deliver branded, interactive video sessions, broadcasts, and discussions accessible across devices without downloads. The result was a single platform supporting concurrent events in Paris and LA, year-round smaller sessions, and an active community of about 15,000 people, enabling Global Sports Week to run large- and small-scale events at high quality and global reach.
