Fox Music, a division of 20th Century Fox that manages copyrights from over 1,900 film and television productions and numerous TV and cable music assets, struggled with a constant inflow of agreements, cue sheets and audio deliveries that needed tracking, licensing and royalty processing across multiple divisions. To centralize and modernize its publishing and licensing operations, Fox Music upgraded to iMaestro – Counterpoint Suite from Vistex in 2007.

Vistex implemented the iMaestro/Counterpoint Suite as an end-to-end copyright, licensing and royalty administration solution (integrated with Record Maestro for mechanicals), creating a central hub for license life‑cycle management and reporting. The system automated many manual tasks, enabled seamless data transfer between publishing and finance, and cut an annual report task from about a week to seconds, delivering clear time savings, faster processing and more accurate, centralized control of Fox Music’s catalog.
