AB InBev - Customer Case Study

AB InBev, the global brewer, faced growing complexity and poor visibility in its customer rebate and incentive programs that were managed by spreadsheets, leading to inconsistent calculations, limited auditability, and slow responses to market changes. To standardize and automate rebate administration, AB InBev adopted the SAP Incentive Administration application by Vistex (implemented with SAP Consulting and Accenture) to support country-specific agreements and integrate with its existing SAP landscape.

Vistex delivered and helped implement SAP Incentive Administration, integrating it with AB InBev’s SAP ERP and field-sales tools and training 10 back-end and 100 front-end users—completing the rollout in five months. The Vistex solution automated accruals and settlements, provided a customer web portal, and improved visibility, traceability and financial accuracy; AB InBev reported increased plan management efficiency, fewer erroneous payouts, better receivables/payables integration and an expected reduction in total incentive expenditures.
