Westpac, one of Australia’s leading banks, wanted to roll out new products faster and at lower cost while staying truly customer-centric. To do that, it used Vision Critical’s customer intelligence software to create customer and employee communities that could validate ideas, test concepts, and gather direct feedback.
Vision Critical helped Westpac launch a more agile, insight-driven innovation process, including a wearables proof-of-concept with its employee community. The result was faster time-to-market, stronger stakeholder input, and improved product decisions, with the wearables project delivered for $20,000 versus traditional projects of over $100,000 and achieving more than 90% completion of diary tasks.
