To address the competitive durable goods market, DeWalt launched the DEWALT Insights Forum with Vision Critical, creating a 12,000-member insight community to inform decisions across the product development cycle.
Vision Critical’s software enabled DeWalt to build ongoing relationships with end users, test concepts more efficiently, and follow up after launch with satisfaction surveys. The results included more than $1 million saved in research costs in 2016 and nearly $6 million saved overall, along with faster, more accurate research and successful validation of new product updates.
