IG, the world-leading provider of contracts for difference and financial spread betting, needed a faster, more flexible way to gain client insight and support innovation. Traditional research methods like focus groups and telephone interviews were no longer keeping pace with IG’s technology-savvy customers, so the company turned to Vision Critical and its insight community approach.

Vision Critical helped IG launch Think Tank, a community of 1,000 clients used for discussions and short surveys, with members also given early access to beta products and new features. The program gave IG real-time, continuous feedback that improved engagement and influenced product development, helping the company test and refine features quickly and cost-effectively, with some ideas coming directly from members.
