Exterion Media needed a better way to gather insight from a traditionally hard-to-reach urban audience, instead of relying on just one or two expensive research projects each year. The company worked with Vision Critical to create an ongoing way to engage consumers and provide media and advertising agencies with timely audience intelligence.
Vision Critical helped Exterion Media launch *work.shop.play*, an insight community of 10,000 urban consumers recruited through Exterion’s own ad inventory and media partnerships. The community gave Exterion regular feedback on ads and buying motivations, became the company’s consumer-facing brand, and provided sales teams with current insights and marketing collateral; the success of the initiative also contributed to industry recognition, including multiple 2012 awards.
