BankVic, an Australian financial services bank serving police, health, emergency and public service members, wanted to find market white space and add a competitive home loan offering. To expand its reach, BankVic used Vision Critical’s online community, TalkBank, to better understand the pain points, attitudes, and preferences of first home buyers, a segment missing from its loan portfolio.
With Vision Critical, BankVic launched its First Home Buyer Package in just 10 weeks. Six months later, annual volume targets were exceeded and the first home buyer portfolio grew to nearly 3 times its original size, helping increase member base, share of wallet, and customer lifetime value; the product also won the 2018 Mozo Experts Choice Award for best value First Home Buyer Loan.
