Case Study: Vodafone Germany achieves unified customer identity and seamless digital convergence with Vindicia Connect

A Vindicia Case Study

Preview of the Vodafone Case Study

Vodafone Germany delivers digital convergence with Vindicia Connect

Vodafone Germany, the country’s leading converged operator, was struggling with a fragmented user experience after rapid multi-play expansion and multiple legacy BSS/OSS and identity systems that forced customers to juggle different log‑ins for mobile, broadband and TV. To address this, Vodafone Germany partnered with Vindicia and deployed the Vindicia Connect identity management and single sign‑on service.

Vindicia implemented Vindicia Connect as an abstracted, common user‑lifecycle and SSO platform that unified identities without a risky rip‑and‑replace of back‑office systems. The result was a single Vodafone identity for millions of users, faster and seamless sign‑on, rapid onboarding of 5.5M Unitymedia TV customers, 22% of contract mobile and fixed sales completed fully digitally in FY21 Q2, retirement of legacy SSO platforms and contributions toward Vodafone Germany’s €535 million cost and capex synergies target over five years.
