A Vervoe Case Study
RMIT University, a leading Melbourne-based university, ran an international research fellowship program that attracted over 1,400 applications for 20 fellowships. Their 2018 process was document-heavy and manual—around 50 documents per candidate sent on USB, CD or by post and taking four weeks to compile—so RMIT partnered with Vervoe to streamline selection using Vervoe’s online assessment software.
Vervoe delivered a branded, customizable online assessment that captured key selection criteria, included Vice‑Chancellor video prompts, exported responses to a central database and allowed on‑demand global submissions. The Vervoe solution cut compilation time from four weeks to 48 hours, handled 1,400+ applicants for 20 fellowships, improved candidate experience and freed RMIT University’s recruitment team to focus on attraction, onboarding and stakeholder engagement.
