How Ridestore Used Vervoe To Master Hiring Seasonal Skilled Labour At Scale

Ridestore, the Sweden-based e-commerce retailer of snowboard, ski, and outdoor apparel, needed a better way to hire a large volume of seasonal customer experience specialists each winter. Their existing process relied on surveys, Google Sheets, and manual grading, which made recruitment slow, inefficient, and hard to scale while still maintaining the company’s high customer service standards. Ridestore partnered with Vervoe to improve hiring for these short-term skilled roles.

Vervoe implemented tailored skills assessments for Ridestore’s customer experience hiring process, including an initial multiple-choice screen and a secondary assessment aligned to the brand’s culture and EVP. The results were significant: recruitment hours dropped from 551 in 2022 to 291 in 2023, a 55% reduction, while CSAT improved to 4.76 and the recruitment process score rose from 4.58 to 4.85. Ridestore also reported that 71% of hires made using Vervoe were considered good quality and would be rehired, showing that Vervoe helped improve both efficiency and candidate quality.
