YMCA of the Foothills improves mobility for 30 users with Vertical Communications

The YMCA of the Foothills, a non-profit community services organization, faced a challenge with staff mobility. Their employees were constantly off-site providing services but had to use personal cell phones, which was inconvenient, unprofessional, and compromised their privacy. To solve this, they worked with vendor Vertical Communications to implement the Wave IP UC system with its embedded ViewPoint Mobile application.

Vertical Communications' solution connected the Y's two locations on a single network, giving each employee a direct extension. The ViewPoint Mobile app allowed staff to make and receive calls from their business number on their personal phones. The results included improved call handling efficiency, significantly better voice quality, and cost savings that allowed the upgrade to operate within their existing budget.
