Vertical’s Wave IP helps Innovation Center attain state-of-the-art unified communications

Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, through its Innovation Center in Western New York, needed a modern communications platform that could give incoming life sciences and biotech tenants advanced unified communications, simplify administration, improve visibility across a multi-tenant building, and scale easily as the campus grew. Vertical Communications provided the Wave IP business communications system and Wave ViewPoint UC to meet these needs.

Vertical Communications implemented a flexible, single UC infrastructure that connected more than 30 tenants and about 200 users, while making it easy to add new tenants and manage services from one real-time dashboard. The solution also let maintenance staff provision changes or resolve issues in minutes, extended services to off-campus personnel through remote station log-in and SIP phones, and added emergency hotline alerts integrated with ticketing for faster response and better continuity.
