MediSync Manages Healthy Collaboration with Wave IP

Vertical Communications worked with MediSync Midwest LLC, a health care management organization serving physician groups across the Cincinnati and Dayton areas, to replace an aging communications system that was difficult to manage and no longer stable. MediSync needed a highly configurable, reliable platform to support dozens of offices, each with its own call routing needs, while handling about 750 phones and 10,000 calls per week and preparing for future telehealth and mobility demands.

Vertical Communications implemented the Wave IP unified communications platform with WaveNet to connect 30+ locations into one network and integrate with Allscripts EHR/CRM software. The new six-server system improved bandwidth, speed, and availability, while ViewPoint tools enabled unified messaging, call monitoring, analysis, and instant messaging across practices. The result was better patient care, faster handling of calls, easier scaling for growth, and a flexible foundation for future features such as video, mobility, and patient reminders.
