Commercial Credit Adjusters Ltd, one of Canada’s largest accounts receivable management and collection services companies, needed a communications platform that could connect five locations and 200 users while handling up to 12,000 calls per day. Its legacy Centrex system offered no branch connectivity, unified voicemail, call center features, or backup capability, making it hard for agents to transfer calls, reach supervisors, and maintain continuity in a nearly around-the-clock operation. Vertical Communications was brought in to help with Wave IP and related unified communications tools.
Vertical Communications implemented Wave IP with ViewPoint UC, Instant Messaging, Call Recording, and Live Image to unify communications across the company, support real-time collaboration, and provide daily system backups. The solution added company-wide visibility, call recording and reporting for supervisors, and organized call data by client groups for easier management. As a result, Commercial Credit Adjusters Ltd improved accountability and compliance, reduced administration costs through a one-box solution, and gained faster recovery from outages, with system restore possible in a matter of hours.
