Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus connects 30+ tenants and 200 users with Vertical Communications

The Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus (BNMC) faced the challenge of providing its new Innovation Center tenants with a cutting-edge, unified communications infrastructure. They needed a scalable, easily administered system that could consolidate services and provide visibility over the building’s tenant base. To meet this need, BNMC worked with vendor Vertical Communications to implement its Wave IP business communications system and ViewPoint UC solution.

Vertical Communications implemented a flexible Wave IP system that connected over 30 tenants and approximately 200 users. The solution streamlined administration with a single dashboard for visibility and allowed maintenance staff to provision services or address issues in minutes. The system's scalability easily accommodates new incoming tenants and securely extends services to off-campus personnel, providing the state-of-the-art infrastructure required for the high-tech hub.
