The coordinated approach delivered a smooth transition with no billing disruption, secured City Council approval through budget-friendly phasing, improved customer service, enabled remote reads and 15‑minute consumption reporting once AMI is deployed, and supported measurable engagement (23,000 accounts on the WaterSmart platform and WaterSmart‑reported customer satisfaction gains of more than 35%).
