Global Satellite Provider Delivers Reliable Connectivity with a Single Solution from Versa

U.S. Based Global Satellite Provider, a wholesale operator managing a global constellation and terrestrial network for aviation, government, telcos and maritime markets, needed a fully integrated SD‑WAN that delivered broadband, MPLS, LTE, routing, security and satellite‑specific features like TCP optimization on a single platform. After testing multiple vendors and running an RFP/POC in 2020, the customer selected Versa Networks’ Secure SD‑WAN for its integration, flexibility and faster deployment.

Versa Networks delivered a fully managed, white‑label Secure SD‑WAN service including shared (and later AWS) head‑end hosting, branch on‑boarding and monitoring, training, and carrier‑grade CSG300/CSG700 branch platforms with Riverbed VNF on uCPE. The solution provides 200 Mbps and 1 Gbps profiles to match existing underlay services, consolidates multiple functions onto one platform, and enabled the customer to plan several thousand branch deployments over five years while launching the service in early 2021 with a major African bank.
