A Verint Systems Case Study
South Staffordshire District Council needed a better way to deliver citizen services online and reduce manual workload. Working with Verint Systems and its Verint for Citizen Engagement solution, the council set out to digitize key transactions such as apply, pay, report, and request, while integrating address, mapping, payment, and billing systems.
Verint Systems implemented self-service forms and automation to streamline service delivery and FOI handling. The results were strong: 90% of garden waste sign-ups were completed online, 29,000 residents used the form in the first six months, and the service generated over £1 million in added revenue. South Staffordshire District Council also added 15 more online services and improved FOI compliance through better tracking and deadline reminders.
