Road Scholar, a not‑for‑profit leader in educational travel serving more than 100,000 adults with 2,000 tours worldwide, needed an easy-to-use online space for its largely older participant base to connect, share knowledge, and build relationships before, during, and after trips. The organization also wanted greater control over discussion boards so it could highlight the most valuable topics and better engage participants.

By deploying Verint Community, Road Scholar created customizable public forums and private trip groups with automated enrollment, blogs, and moderation tools that encouraged peer-to-peer interaction. The platform drove a significant uptick in posts and engagement, grew to more than 60,000 registrations and about 5,000 groups, enabled regular staff moderation, and helped participants form lasting connections and share media and experiences.
