OFI Asset Management Fulfils its Collaboration Compliance Mandate with Verint Financial Compliance

OFI Asset Management, a Paris‑based asset manager with over €71 billion AUM, faced a growing compliance challenge: MiFID II requires comprehensive recording and monitoring of all client‑related communications across voice, video, chat and screen sharing. A planned migration from an Aastra PBX to Skype for Business exposed the limitations of OFI’s legacy recorder, which was incompatible with Skype and obliged IT specialists to handle routine recording checks that should have been performed by compliance teams.

OFI deployed Verint Financial Compliance with partner Geomant to provide certified Skype for Business capture and multi‑channel recording for 230 users across three sites, plus centralized, encrypted, tamper‑proof retention and automated Call Recording Assurance. The solution meets MiFID II recordkeeping and monitoring requirements, streamlines assurance workflows so Audit & Control can run checks instead of IT, reduces operational costs and risk, and improves data governance and audit readiness.
