A Verint Systems Case Study
A major U.S. airport, one of the world’s busiest and a key international gateway, needed to modernize security across a large, geographically dispersed campus. Legacy video systems and disparate security technologies limited real-time situational awareness and rapid response, so the airport sought an integrated video management and PSIM solution to consolidate cameras, sensors and operational data into a simple, usable interface.
Following a competitive bid, the airport implemented Verint PSIM and Verint Enterprise VMS—replacing the legacy system and integrating Lenel and MDI access control, Integraph CAD, analytics and video walls. The scalable deployment (2,000+ cameras, 5,000+ sensors, a 3D multi‑layer UI and automated alerting) improved situational awareness, sped incident response, lowered operational costs and trained 150+ users across airport security, TSA, FBI and local police for enhanced surveillance, investigation and emergency preparedness.
