Currys improves curbside pickup at 300+ stores with Verint

Currys, a prominent UK electronics retailer, faced the challenge of creating a more convenient and efficient curbside pickup experience for its customers collecting online orders. To address this, they partnered with Verint and implemented its Queue Management software solution, specifically the BOPIS Check-in feature.

Verint developed a bespoke solution using AWS Lambda that allowed customers to check in via a weblink or QR code upon arrival. They then received live queue updates via SMS while store associates brought orders directly to their cars. This solution implemented by Verint resulted in an improved customer experience and loyalty, a more productive store team, and increased footfall by turning online sales into brick-and-mortar traffic.
