The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the professional body for HR and people development with over 145,000 members, needed a safe, accessible online forum to help members worldwide learn, debate and connect. As social and collaborative tools grew in the business world, CIPD sought a platform that could support open discussion, private HR conversations and community-building across a large, global membership.

CIPD deployed Verint Community to host open, member-only and invite-only groups plus integrated blogs, with mobile-friendly functionality and robust moderation for sensitive HR topics. Since relaunching on Verint the site’s reach and engagement have jumped dramatically — monthly unique visitors rose from about 6,000 to 35,000, there were over 200,000 unique visitors in 2017, 190,000 page views per month, more than 1 million blog views that year, an average 11 minutes spent per visit reading threads, and roughly 35% of visits now via mobile.
