A Verint Systems Case Study
All Partners Access Network (APAN) is an unclassified information‑sharing service for the U.S. Department of Defense and mission partners that provides community spaces and Web 2.0 collaboration tools to support multinational exercises, humanitarian assistance and disaster response (HADR), training and conferences. APAN needed a platform that could be stood up quickly, scale to thousands of participants (including exercise events with ~2,750 users), replicate real‑world crisis tools and workflows, and adapt as requirements shifted during large multinational training like RIMPAC.
Using Verint Community, APAN deployed blogs, forums, wikis, media galleries, calendars and integrated tools (chat, translation, maps) with email/RSS and mobile‑responsive access to support planning, real‑time updates and simulated disaster operations. The solution simplified community creation and management, enabled rapid dissemination of situation reports and alerts, and let responders train on the same tools used in real events; today APAN hosts more than 2,500 communities and thousands of content items, improving collaboration, response times and multinational coordination in HADR and other missions.
